Iranian-Canadians affected by TD bank account closures will have a forum to express frustrations and possible solutions.
The Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC) – a non-profit community organization – has invited Iranian-Canadians to a “fact-finding event” to “gather relevant information from stakeholders,” according to the organization’s website.
“We invite any member of the community whose account has been closed by TD in recent weeks to attend the event and share their experience with us,” the ICC stated on their website. “Furthermore, if anyone wishes to share copies of documents they have received from TD in connection with the closing of their account, we would be happy to receive them.”
“Once the facts have been gathered, the ICC will decide on an appropriate course of action.”
The event will take place on Saturday July 7, 2012 for over an hour starting at 2:00 p.m. at North York Civic Centre, Committee Room #3.
