Television Viewing Habits

A new study suggests about 15 per cent of the time we spend in front of the TV is actually spent looking for something to watch.

Ericsson’s 2016 ConsumerLab TV and Media report says it works out to approximately 1.3 years of flipping channels.

Those who stream programs actually waste more time searching for the right show – an average 18 minutes per viewing session compared to nine minutes for traditional TV.
